KIMEAN
KIMEAN is a Khmer-American artist, based in Denver. She creates emotionally-driven pop that explores identity, generational trauma, and healing. Drawing from her family's survival of the Khmer Rouge and her experience navigating between cultures, she crafts expansive music that honors underrepresented stories.
Her debut single American Girl is a haunting anthem rooted in her family's refugee story and her own search for belonging. With influences ranging from choral composers to Florence and the Machine and AURORA, KIMEAN transforms raw honesty into memory, hope, and cultural preservation.
